Strawberry Ice Cream Using Honey Instead of White Sugar

This strawberry ice cream recipe uses the kitchenaid ice cream maker attachment and makes the most delicious strawberry ice cream using fresh berries. Plus, no refined sugar needed!

Equipment

  • KitchenAid Ice Cream Attachment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 Cup Whole Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Honey
  • 1 splash of Vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 pinch of Salt
  • 2 Cups Chopped Fresh Strawberries

Instructions
 

  • Chop up 2 cups of fresh strawberries into small chunks
  • Mix Strawberries with Honey
  • Mash the Strawberry/Honey Mixture with a masher or fork
  • Add all other ingredients to the bowl and mix with a whisk
  • Freeze liquid mixture for 1 hour
  • Pour Liquid into KitchenAid ice cream attachment and spin for 30 minutes (make sure the kitchenaid ice cream attachment has been in the freezer already for about 24 hours!)
  • Enjoy as soft serve or freeze until the next day!
