Looking for maternity outfit ideas and maternity clothing recommendations in 2025? If so, you’re in luck! I’m sharing all of my favorite maternity pieces that are comfortable, stylish, and affordable.

Maternity shopping is HARD. It seems like hardly any retailers carry maternity clothing in stores anymore and we all know how risky online shopping is for something so specific.

These have been my tried and true maternity outfits and pieces I HIGHLY suggest trying. If you are curious, at the very end of the post, I’ll also share a pair of leggings that I bought from a major retailer that are NOT good.

CRZ Flare Leggings with Striped Long Sleeve Tee

The ONE thing I would 100% buy over and over again are these flare leggings. I got the size medium in the color black. They are so comfortable. Literally the most comfortable maternity bottoms/pants/shorts that I own.

I fully anticipate to be wearing these all the way up until delivery. There is a ton of stretch!

I also really love this long sleeve tee. It’s thin but not see through. This is the size small in color apricot. It has the cute little side ruching for the growing bump. Plus, you can not beat the price. It’s so cheap!

Pink Blush Maternity Floral Dress

For baby shower dresses, shop Pink Blush Maternity clearance. My mom gifted me this midi dress for my birthday.

This is the size small and there is plenty of room! The quality is great and it’s very comfortable.

I also grabbed these very low block heel sandals because anything chunkier or higher of a heel was just not happening. They are comfy and great for wearing to showers!

Amazon Floral Midi Skirt

Another dressier maternity outfit idea is this skirt! This is not actually a maternity piece of clothing, but it stretches so much that you can certainly wear it. Plus, you’ll be able to wear it postpartum as well.

I styled it with a simple white t-shirt that I got from Marshalls. I recycled the shoes from the last outfit (Raffia Block-Heel Buckle Slide Sandals) for this look.

For sizing, I got the medium. I probably could have gotten a small if I wasn’t pregnant. It doesn’t dig into your stomach at all and is a comfy skirt.

Biker Shorts with Maternity Tee

After falling in love with the CRZ maternity flare leggings, I purchased the CRZ maternity bike shorts! These are just as comfortable as the flare leggings, so I’m incredibly happy with my buy. I know I’ll wear these now that it’s warmer outside.

I am wearing the size medium here in the shorts and they are the 6″. I think it’s the perfect length.

The maternity t-shirt is also super cute and comfy! I’ve worn it with maternity jeans, flare leggings, and these bike shorts. It’s just a good option for everyday. Wearing the size small here.

I will say with the t-shirt, it was a bit larger/longer before I accidentally put it in the dryer. I meant to air-dry it! So, in this picture it’s a bit smaller than it originally came. Still plenty of room though and I’ll keep wearing it.

Isabel Maternity Jeans for Spring

Target has a maternity line called “Isabel Maternity” that I have pretty mixed feelings on because the leggings missed the boat for me but the jeans were a win!

I just got classic over the belly skinny jeans by Isabel Maternity but you can browse the whole collection from Target here. They are just a bit loose now in the belly area but I’ve still got 3 months to go so I’m sure I’ll fill them in more as I continue to progress.

I also a chambray shirt from this brand (forgot to snap a pic of it and can’t find it online anyways) and really like it, so I know the brand has some nice stuff.

The top I paired it with is just a regular top I’ve had for years, nothing special. I normally wear oversized t-shirts with these jeans honestly.

In case you were wondering, these are the Isabel maternity leggings that I bought. The first time I wore them they felt good, but the past few times I’ve put them on I just feel like I’m suffocating as they are SO tight on the bump. I’ve just stopped wearing them all together now.

Old Navy Leggings with Oversized Pullover

The Old Navy maternity leggings are pretty good! Not as comfortable as the CRZ options, but I found these on clearance in-store for $4 so I really can’t complain. They are great when I just want something different.

As of now, they are majorly discounted online as well so they would be easy to scoop up if you’re in the market for maternity leggings.

I just pair them with oversized lightweight long sleeve tops like this one or a graphic tee! This particular top isn’t maternity and I got it second hand so can’t link it for you.

Conclusion

Overall, if you take nothing else from this post, order yourself a pair of the CRZ flare maternity leggings and order a dress from Pink Blush Maternity. Those two things alone are great starting points for building out your maternity wardrobe!
