If you’ve got a pickleball game coming up, I’m here to help. Lately I have been just really I loving finding cute outfits to wear to pickleball games!

Even if it’s just a casual game with friends, wearing an outfit you feel good in makes the whole experience more fun.

I always look for pieces that are equal parts cute and practical.

My go to items are tennis skirts, matching workout sets, breezy tanks, cute running shorts, and lightweight pullovers for chillier days.

There are so many good activewear options right now that make it easy to look put together without spending a ton.

Whether you’re brand new to pickleball or already obsessed, I have found all of the cutest pickleball outfit ideas for this post!

Tips for Not Sticking Out Like a Sore Thumb

For starters, if you’re just going to play with friends or taking a beginner lesson, no one expects you to show up in pickleball specific clothes.

A cute athletic outfit or sporty look is totally fine. Think tennis skirt, biker shorts, athletic dress, leggings, or a simple tank with sneakers.

You really don’t need anything fancy to look the part.

I will say, there are a few things I’d skip if you don’t want to stick out like a sore thumb.

Sweatpants are usually a no since they can feel bulky and too casual for the court.

Super revealing outfits, like tops that show a lot of stomach, can also feel a little off for the vibe.

Pickleball has a polished, preppy energy kind of like golf or tennis, so it’s best to keep it cute, sporty, and classy.

Also avoid overly graphic tees or anything that sort of screams “street style”. Although we love a good street style moment, pickleball outfits really read more “preppy girl” than anything else.

Then there is the obvious no-no’s, like jeans, flowy dresses, etc.

How to Not Go Broke Buying Pickleball Outfits

I’m really not a fan of you buying an entirely new pickleball outfit each time you have a game. That’s just not practical for any of us!

What I mean by that is you don’t need a tank, skirt, new shoes, new jewelry, new hat, etc. each time.

Instead, I’m going to recommend individual pieces I think are so trendy yet timeless that you can grab to add to your pickleball wardrobe to create MULTIPLE looks out of.

Yep, my recommendations would be to mix and match these things around to create several different outfits.

I’m really quite obsessed with anything from the Target All In Motion line, and there are so many pieces in there that would be great for pickleball!

If nothing else, grab this white skirt. Then you can pair it with any athletic tanks or tops you already own!

It’s such an easy, practical pickleball outfit idea!

Plus, THERE IS A MATCHING SHIRT!! Praise hands!! Okay haha maybe I’m being dramatic but I just LOVE a matching set.
